I am not so sure, from a purely political point this is good.
The GOP had really put themselves in a pickle on this. If the ruling had gone in their favor they would have been blamed for every negative consequence that unfolded. You know they were going pass legislation so the subsidies would continue.
Now they can sit back and watch the train wreck continue to unfold as premiums, costs, fines/taxes skyrocket.
They can now say, sorry voters we tried to stop this at every level. If you want this fixed you know how to vote in 2016.
Yeah but they have put so much doubt in their vote that not many of the base believe that they'll follow through.
Kinda my thought. Obamacare did something I thought nearly impossible -- replaced a dysfunctional and expensive health care system with one even more dysfunctional and more expensive. It will take more than just replacing Obamacare with something not quite as bad.
(The US ranks 51st in life expectancy according to the CIA figures -- but spends at least half again as much on health care as any other nation. Obamacare does absolutely nothing to address this.)
