I expect tanks to roll up to the White House and Obama arrested and a Junta to replace his rule—maybe president Petraus as interim leader until free elections can be held.

If you were around here yesterday instead of picking your toes somewhere you’d have seen that I said that although I hate and oppose Confederates and the Confederacy as my personal beliefs, I don’t have the right to deny anyone their free speech or flag they choose to wave, however offensive I find that speech or flag to be because if anyone’s right to free speech can be denied, even yours bub, then so can mine.

I don’t disagree with your point. But you’re describing the necessity of political stoicism few have the desire/confidence to put into practice.
They have the stoicism to repeatedly vote for a liberal no matter what and fight endlessly pretending they didn’t. That takes a massive effort to keep the lie going. Just switch that vote to a conservative. How hard it that? They seem a pretty determined bunch.

I woke up tonight to the articles on the Rainbow white house. In those threads were posts with the dame hyperdetermined Romney apologists continuing the “This is all the purists fault” crap they have spewed for 2 years.
Now it’s a set in stone fact that Mitt was the first Gov to legalize gay marriage in America.
So for two years they have been pining for this guy and screaming bloody murder about how people like me and others who share the anti-Romney position are the cause of all the trouble in America.
In the face of Betty Homofying the White House their solution is to want the guy the once OPPOSED BARRY’S POSITION AT THE TIME that marriage was between a man and woman.
Two years after he lost.
That is a hurculean effort to obscure both history and reality. They have so twisted, worked so hard to twist reality that we can now actually use a position of Barack Hussien Obama to defend conservative values. FROM THEM.
Oh they have plenty of stoic determination alright. And it’s 100% liberal.
