amazing, breathtaking what this GOP led congress can fall over themselves to accomplish for obama and the ruling elite.

i guess that divided congress wasn’t so bad after all.

it’s often the people who act on their very “certain” knowledge of the future, who prove out to have “known” the least about anything at all.

There is a word...what was it? It’s right on the tip of my....OH YEA!!!

Vindicated.

Stephenjonbanker and I joke about batting 1000. Not because we’re modern Prophets or psychic. Simply because we took off the rose colored glasses and say the situation for what it is. Everyone here could do likewise.

Why do I use the language I do? Why do I say I will revel in the suffering people bring on themselves? Because they also brought that suffering on myself and those I care about. And I’ll be perfectly honest here. I really do believe conservatives that empowered these bastards deserve everything these bastards do to them.

People seem to think conservatism is one big social club. Sure we can post cat pictures and joke around. Nothing wrong with that at all. But when the chips are down it’s supposed to be about advancing our beliefs.

And as I said in a post earlier, we are now approaching the F O U R T H election with people making every excuse possible as to why they will A G A I N vote for more of the ‘lesser evil’ that moved the idea of America yo a much lower level of socialist hell.

So who should I or anyone else point the finger at? Some of DID tell people with 100% accuracy what would be the result of their capitulation to the liberal GOP. Were we supposed to sit silently? Should we now that we have been proven right? Again? Sometimes calling a spade a spade is a really good idea.

Now on a brighter note more in tune with my legendary sunny disposition I would like to offer my sincere thanks to the people on FR that took off their own rose colored glasses on these issues and went to bat for me and more importantly, the conservative movement in the many flame wars the liberal wing here.

I would also like to point out that I quit drinking back in the mid 90s which today, in light of the GOP ending America, was probably a very bad ideas.

I don’t often smoke cigars, but when I do, I smoke Partagas 150s because I am the most interesting man in the world. The world of my mind. Which is the only one that matters.

Lastly, I prefer redheads which is why I married one. Think of a much shorter Tawney Kitaen from 1987 with a huge set of... principles. ;)

Because I like living dangerously.

If Cruz goes down in flames, that would be Palin. For the third time. To me, Cruz, even with his screw up on TPA/P is the only candidate running over the 80% mark. Walker is close on paper, but his sellout to the USCOC and his Romney associations DQ him from consideration. So that means going ‘off script’ again and voting for a conservative that the GOP refuses to run.

The bottom line is simple. Last time the GOP could not win without people like us. This time there are more of ‘us’ thanks to Bhoner and Mitch. If people want to win, they have one choice. Vote for a conservative. Because we proved we will not help put a liberal republican like Jeb or Perry or Trump or Rubio or Paul into the presidency. And we intend to do it again if they nominate one.

Hardball. Vote conservative and win or lesser evil and lose. Period. A real one, not an Obama one. Them’s the choices.

There’s some new open source textile equipment. Just found it. It’s working but still in development (beta) and extremely low cost to build. Like much of the other open source design equipment, it’s robotic. So all the robots are belong to us.

Most likely, the economy is about to go through some extreme changes, some very bad and some very good.

BTW, on robotics, the various control boards used with open source manufacturing equipment came from open source design projects, too. There are many open source designs for various kinds of 3D printers, burners and other kinds of equipment now. “Robotic,” because they are controlled by computers, servos and whatever other kinds of actuators needed. “Robots:” silly word these days, IMO. DIY robots are relatively cheap.

Let me understand....you’re really talking about conservatism without reliance on electoral politics. Or to coin a phrase...Conservatism without Ballots. Its something I’ve been thinking a great deal about lately. With the exception of the most deluded, I think there is pretty much a consesnsus that electoral politics has failed. You see it both on the left and on the right

If we value conservatism and freedom, I think it’s incumbent on us to be conservative and free. Permission from the kleptocrats not really required. I see hundreds of ideas for expanding freedom that don’t involve politics. Perhaps the emphasis should be on that rather than which group of scumbags we think would do a better job wielding the whip.

So long as we remain focused on a rigged political game that we just can’t seem to win, we’ll continue to lose. No one that I’m aware of sells books on winning strategies for three card monte, because it’s generally accepted to be a suckers game. Is electiral politics really any different? What we see right now at the Federal level is electoral “success.” The gop won in 2014. Sure doesn’t feel like victory to me.

True conservatives do need to start a third party or should I say, make the republican party the third party.

Cycle after cycle, we allow ourselves to be deceived into voting for republicans that just outright lie to get elected.

Are we doing ourselves any favors here? I submit, there needs to be a nationalist platform. America first in all things.

Free trade...great. As long as it puts American interest first! Cut federal spending...deep and throughout.

Abolish the IRS. Zero based budgeting. Constitutional amendment to balance the budget. Strong strong strong military...In DEFENCE of our nation. We are called by God to defend the weak, those who suffer tyranny. Not march all over the world playing world’s beat cop in ever single skirmish.

We are broke! We cannot afford all this nonsense.

American has always been a lifeboat. Now the lifeboat is beginning to capsize.

Agreed.

And I would add to it get rid of the illegals. Send back first the ones in prison and/or the troublemakers. Then start sending the rest back that have overstayed visas. Keep sending more and more back. That'll pay for itself in the long run. Also, cut benefits for the able bodied and they can pick up the slack the illegals have been picking up. If not, they don't eat. No more free lunches except for the truly disabled.

I noticed the people you pinged here are some of the most intelligent, uncompromising conservatives we have on FR threads. I don’t believe in coincidence : )

I’m gonna make another bold prediction. It is highly unlikely that even one of the people that mocked us will admit they, not we, were mistaken. In fact, they are already pretending to be upset by today’s SCOTUS fiasco when clearly they repeatedly sided with those that agree with it in the voting booth.

I don’t know but I sure miss seeing the Yosemite Sam on a Dragon picture. It was the best argument they ever had. Certainly made more sense than the fraud who posted it.

Probably their handlers decided confronting fact was beyond the capabilities of the lobotomites to handle on their own and told them to avoid us.
