Trump is, and always has been, a scammer/fraud. Cruz doesn’t need Trump’s assistance in articulating real Conservative principals.....The opposite is more likely.
That is rather bass ackwards as they say. In Trump’s announcement speech, he said he would dot these things:
Repeal Obamacare
Repeal Common Core
Strengthen the military and support vets
Build a wall and secure the border
Bring back the American Dream of jobs and businesses
If you add Abolish the IRS and Protect Religious Liberty, he sounds just like Cruz. Sorry, but Cruz said it first and I trust Cruz.

So Trump, who’s given money to countless Democrats, praised Hillary in 2007-2008 and generally talked out of both sides of his mouth on countless issues is now the person whose positions other candidates are trying to emulate? Sorry, that line of reasoning is a non-starter here on FR.
I’m fine with Trump being in the race — I think he’s highly entertaining and I like the way he pisses off the GOPe, but he’s no conservative by a long shot and I wouldn’t vote for him in a million years.
