Uh yea that is ridiculous. I have clients arrested for DWI and other very small things that get far rougher treatment than that.
There are a ton of things about this whole story that stink to me. Then look at how many things are being rolled out in the name of this event.
It sure looks like a lot more than just making the most of a crisis.
It looks downright manufactured to me.
If that makes me a Charleston Truther for having the nerve to question the government/ MSM story then so be it.
I’m going to wait until there is some reliable evidence before deciding what to think about this.
Commentary and discussion of news events should IMHO not be premised on the idea that the government and media are telling the truth. It is as simple as that for me.

The agitators are going to have a field day with this. Already they had been complaining about the fact that he didn’t get shot 5,000 times during his arrest. Now they’re really going to go (more) bonkers.
