We seem to have already forgotten about the German pilot who murdered over 150 innocent people with an airplane.

Because homicidal maniacs who don't have access to firearms would never think about killing people with automobiles, or explosives, or molotov cocktails, or poison, or any of a number of other ways.

And it's a good thing all the females murdered by psychopaths like Ted Bundy who killed his victims mostly by bludgeoning or choking didn't have firearms to protect themselves. /s
