GOP presidential candidate and businessman Donald Trump is warning the Senate against passing Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) on Tuesday.
TPA would give President Obama fast track authority to finalize his trade negotiations without Congress issuing any amendments and only getting an up or down vote on the final deal.
Trump posted on Twitter: The Senate must NOT pass TPA! Any Senator who votes for it is disqualified for being POTUS. Protect the American worker and manufacturer!
GOP presidential candidate Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY)93% previously voted against TPA, but Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)93%, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)80%, and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC)47% all GOP presidential candidates voted for it.

For 30 years now, have the people in D.C. done one signal thing which benefited America?
I see a country in decline and very divided.
Cruz.
Once they knew it would pass, it was OK for some to change their mind and oppose it.
This is how it works.
D.C. is a very evil place.
Unfortunately 60 percent of the population are unable to figure out they’ve just been had again.
Over and over and over.
Wasn’t Cruz for it before he was against it? Didn’t he vote “yes” the first time? Good for Trump for putting some heat to some of these senators. Unfortunately, not enough of them responded the right way.
I think that's a reasonable approximation.
