The media are befuddled by the African-American communitys reaction to the massacre in Charleston, South Carolina. They expected the usual unrest they see whenever theres any kind of violence perpetrated by someone of another race. Black-on-black crime never warrants a riot, of course.
But this time, they guessed wrong.
Reverend Norvel Goff spoke at the Emanuel AME Church on Sunday, pointing out how peace was guiding the community in its reaction to the racially-motivated hate crime against the church. A lot of folks expected us to do something strange and to break out in a riot, he said. Well, they just dont know us.

One of the murdered pastor’s was enrolled in Nazarene Theological Seminary for doctorate. Author is correct, God is influencing, nay requiring such responses.
Exactly. The contrast is on display for all to see who care to see.
Don’t worry Heidi. The Chihuahuas in the media that sit comfortably in the Democrat’s valley girl Louis Vuitton purses have already forced members of the Stupid Party to denounce the Confederate flag and keep the fans of racism flaming.
I loved what the Rev said, “A lot of forks expected us ..”.
I suspect that statement may have been directed to Al Sharpton who was purportedly on his way to Charleston a few days ago. Evidently, Sharpton did not get a very nice welcome.
GOD BLESS Rev. Goff.
Great article. Make sure you actually read it.
Here are some really good quotes.
“The press were REALLY thrown when he said this: We believe that when we put our heads together working for a common good, there is nothing we cannot accomplish together in the name of Jesus.”
...
“Remember in 2007, when a primarily-white church in Colorado Springs was targeted by a man with 1000 rounds of ammo and three weapons? He was stopped at the door and killed by a female plainclothes security guard. Well never know how many lives were saved by her heroism.”
GOD bless these people - showing The Way.
(O’bummer, Al, the media et all are deeply saddened. They aren’t being allowed to exploit these people or this tragedy for their own gains.)

Amen Reverend Goff! showing what real men of God know and understand. Reminds me of the Amish who experienced some nut shooting and killing a large number of their children while at school school some years back, but who offered forgiveness to the perpetrator.
Intelligent, well-informed, right-wing, and proudly Christian, she seemed to have stepped on CBS radio's toes and was let go.
We grieved.
Glad to see she's back, doing what she does best: Sharing her opinion, and backing it up with facts!
