No one I know about is not calling it racism. They are just saying it isn’t an indictment on white people in general like the libs want to claim. It is one punk creep loser who decided to get attention this way. I’m guessing it had more to do with his reaction to recent news events than with any racist upbringing (per a black young man who used to be his friend). Or some other event that led him down this path.

Shame on Carson for using this. He is no better than Obama for trying to squeeze political advantage out of it

Mentally ill people often find “causes” that confirm their inner turmoil and anger. Oddly enough, he complained that he couldn’t find any racist organizations in SC to join!

I’d get more exercised about it if the disproportionate rates of black-on-white crime, especially the absolutely one-sided rates of the crime of rape, got at least a fraction of the attention (and Ben Carson could put his money where his mouth is on this, if he really wanted things to be fair and just). There is indeed a cold racial war occurring already, hot in spots, and the hot spots are almost overwhelmingly black-on-white, and they’re daily, guerilla warfare.

When supporters of the families of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsome-the white teens who were tortured, raped, and finally murdered-were booed down as racists, as Nazis, etc, merely for supporting the white families of two young white victims of a horrendous black-on-white crime-the animals sat eating breakfast as Channon lay dying a few feet away, and one of the animals was another female-I knew I’d never feel the same again about the so-called “war on blacks”.

“Using this”? Since when it is an unfair “using” to call an actual race-motivated crime racist? And to wonder why some shy back from that judgment?

“No one I know about is not calling it racism. They are just saying it isn’t an indictment on white people in general like the libs want to claim.”

Post of the day.

By taking the bait and slamming rivals who “dare not call this tragedy an act of racism”, Carson is intimating that all republicans ARE racist. Idiot.

In many ways, this is as much anti-Christian as it is anti-black. This Dylann Roof is a real train wreck, and somewhere in his twisted logic, certain things became conflated, and any smidgen of stain upon one became a stain upon all.

Granted, the years of apartheid in South Africa, and the white supremacy in Rhodesia, were examples of a grave injustice in historical terms, but the reaction to these extreme applications of injustice were to inflict a “get even, see how THEY like it” regime was was even more harsh than the soft tyranny it replaced.

But there is no such thing as “getting even” in the moral or ethical sense. Either the retaliation is far too severe, or the existing tyranny is far to harsh in repressing the insurrection. Balance, “getting even”, is never achieved.
