You hit the nail on the head.
Progressives constantly yammer about how Republicans are ‘living in the past’ The reality is the Progressives are pathologically stuck in the past. To them, race relations haven’t changed since 1866. They want everyone living in mud huts subsisting on grass and insects (circa 7000 BC) so they can ‘save the planet’. Politically they want to return to Moscow, 1917.
Racism will ALWAYS be an issue for them. They believe in The Permanent Problem (I just coined that phrase). Plus, it makes a lot of money for them.
