A couple of years ago, our Baptist church voted to add a clause to our constitution, stating that, no same sex marriage would be performed in our church. I was against it originally, I considered it to be superfluous, now I’m not so sure.
Government regulation of marriage has been taken over by the Pink Swastika crowd. Bake the cake or they will send government to destroy your family business. They will grind you into the dust as far as they can like they did to the former CEO of Mozilla, Brendan Eich. This is homo-fascism in action.
If we have a separation of church and state, in order to protect godly marriage, we must separate marriage and state. It is time to get government out of the business of defining and regulating marriage.
When marriage is a private matter once again, the Pink Swastika crowd cannot force anyone to bake a cake they don’t want to.
The couple had something taken from them, but in that loss they have gained something much greater and far more everlasting.
If they are also able to forgive and bless those who have come against them, their victory in Spirit will be complete and they will be as an example for the rest. May we all be well used in His Plan.

Anyone know exactly how they worded their refusal to hold a gay wedding on the premises? They should have said the date was booked and held a family picnic there on that date.

I wonder where their ‘baby’ is...don’t all the commercials depicting same sex couples show them fawning over some infant...so if it happens that we forget how normal homosexual parenting is we are quickly ‘redirected’ into the proper path.

I don’t think they backed away to turn to social issues like racism.....
I think Evangelicals backed away because they thought more would support them.....us.....
....but even in Christian circles there was division as to whether this was a right thing to do.....civil disobedience
...and when the RICO was used against pro lifers, it became unbearable.
And, yet, we have 9 people on the Supreme Court who will make a decision regarding marriage at the end of this month for all Americans. Nine people!!! Ridiculous. This shouldn’t be a matter for the highest court in the land, nor should they always be the final authority on these issues. In fact, they shouldn’t even be involved in marriage issues.

Gay people know they can “target” Christian Businesses for payouts....so they do....big bucks coming and their first motive for doing this....second of all closing a business means one less “light” shinning in their dark world.
Dr. Francis Schaeffer advocated CD but passed away in 1984 with his son Frank taking a different course.
But as I said, I had my own wrong priorities and when it comes to CD I have certainly been evaluating it lately looking back at MLK and so on from the 1950’s-60’s.
I put an even higher priority on looking to the Creator and being patient not to jump to answers or conclusions too quickly.
