I have a front licence plate that has an American Flag and a Confederate Battle Flag together. I’ m thinking of removing it from my truck and hanging it up in my garage.

Hitler did the same thing with the swastika. It was a respected symbol going back to the Iron Age. Now Germany outlaws any public display and vigorously prosecutes anyone who manufactures something with the symbol—regardless of whether it is associated with Nazism or not.
Lindsey Graham and Nikki Haley have never been democrats and Republicans have held power in SC politics for years. I would be shocked if the Republican controlled SC legislature voted to take down the Confederate Battle Flag from the Confederate memorial where it now rests. This was a compromise years ago and democrats and Republicans voted for it and the NAACP also endorsed the display.
Don't Ask/Don't Tell was a compromise too. That worked out well, didn't it?
This is what happens when stupid Republicans like Brannon start accepting the leftist narrative. Next the Democrats will demand that everything associated with the Confederacy be removed from the state history.
What does the confederate flag have to do with the shooting in Charleston beyond the fact that some racist activist are using the opportunity to attack it and South Carolina history?
The flag is on a Civil War monument that is equivalently dedicated to one of the most important events in South Carolina’s history.
There is anther monument on the east side of the capital dedicated to slavery. If you want to errace slavery why dont you take down that monument instead?
This RINO should be primaries for poor judgement and eagerness to jump ship.

1. This guy going on MSNBC to promote the current Leftist cause du jour says to me that he is out-of-touch with the conservative constituents he is supposed to represent, and needs to be challenged in the GOP primary.
2. The fact that he can't file it till December means it's going nowhere, as everyone will have long moved on at that time, and the Left will be too focused on the presidential primaries to make this a meme again.
3. The Left bothering with such a stupid issue (the flag) instead of gun control feels like a tacit admission on their part that they know gun control isn't going anywhere, not in the U.S. Congress, not in the South Carolina legislature nor with the American public at large.
Brannon is also not a Southerner.
