Well this is the second time in my life that I’m glad I’m not Catholic. I left the Episcopal church for the obvious reasons and was thinking of the Catholic church as a possible home. But then Pope Frwncis happened, the gays are being embraced, climate change now becoming part of the religion? Liberals poison everything good. The nice thing about being “homeless” church-wise...I focus better in what I believe. I find I don’t need somebody telling me right from wrong once a week. With all of the “dogma” out of my life...nobody can touch or sway my beliefs. Makes me really start to wonder about organized religion.

I hear ya. I had found a church and pastor I liked and listened and learned for several years. It takes time to hear what a pastor is NOT saying and when I realized just what he couldn’t talk about but should be was when I hit the eject.

From a former Episcopalian.
