Yet he had many supporters here at FR. Not just in the general election against the Kenyan, but in the primaries.
Unbelievably, there are already people saying they’ll vote for Jebster if the RNC shoves him down our throats.
As for those who supported Romney - just about anybody would be better than Obama. Right or wrong, some here felt that Romney had the best chance to defeat him. No GOP candidate has the level of contempt for this country as Obama. Rudy was right when he said Obama does no like this country.

I don’t think Romney had ANY Supporters in the Primaries at Free Republic. I don’t recall seeing a one.
If you have a list of names, I would like you to share it with the Board to backup your allegation.
I am one of many FReeper’s who supported Romney in the Primary to rid our Nation of the Marxist Usurper. After enduring the first Term (reign of Terror) of Obama, I would have probably Voted for most any Republican in the General.
Some nose holding supporters. I couldn’t NOT vote and I sure as hell wasn’t voting for the lyin’ king.
He damn sure was better then Obama. He just made himself a joke.
Yep. I supported him. So what. I don’t have to agree with everything he says.
What hurts those of us who are in the conservative movement are a couple of big things:
1. Candidates/politicians who are too quick to bend to media pressure.
2. Voters/activists who are too quick to dismiss politicians who aren’t, in their eyes, pure enough.
You combo the two and it spells electoral doom. Ironic: both sides blame the other for the loss.
Politics is the art of the possible, not the perfect.
