Committing to a Muslim Brotherhood ascendancy in Egypt wasn’t Huma Abedin’s idea, it was Obama’s. It was a huge chunk of his foreign policy, to destroy American policy and credibility, and Huma, however committed and seditious, is not a prime mover but a supporting player.
My read is different, based upon strong circumstantial evidence and common sense in paying attention to what is in front of our eyes.
The goals of Huma and those of Obama coincided. Hillary is beholden to Huma. Huma knows too much about Hillary and Bill for Hillary to ever cut ties with her. Bill officiated at Huma’s bizarre power hungry, self-positioning wedding to Anthony Weiner. If Obama and company are nothing but incompetent, as some still keep saying, then for sure Huma was behind the scenes orchestrating the fall of Mubarek. Do you not think that Hillary asked her closest confidente, whom she brought along to the State Department, what was the “best” course for the U.S. in the Middle East? What makes you think that Hillary was running the show? What would have qualified her to do so? Hillary’s as shallow and Machiavellian are they come. Huma has a lifelong mission, a long term mission of greasing the skids for the ascendency of the Muslim Brotherhood. That an Obama was groomed to take over the White House meshes with the wider plans. Why assume Hillary and Obama don’t march to the very same drummers? Obama has a team of Muslim Brotherhood guys marching into the White House, and designated as advisors. One and the same fraternity/sorority, from all appearances. What evidence do you have that committing to a Muslim Brotherhood ascendency in Egypt was purely Obama’s idea? Do you no think that Obama has handlers, that he comes up with his plans alone? Who are his real advisors - not the ones who have been sitting idly in their offices, while advice is sought from different quarters.
