Unfortunately, it definitely seems like this was only a racially motivated crime and there was no religious motivation. Unless I am missing something, there is no proof that this attack was motivated by any kind of hatred for Christians.

I don’t think that is going to fly since the Apartheid SA and Rhodesia symbols alone seem to show a clear racially best motive as well, not to mention his comments about raping our women and how they have to leave. It seems to be a perfect MSNBC type story whether we want it to be or not.
The killer is pretty clearly nuts. He was also pretty clearly racially motivated. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Understood - but people actually do vote based on these “facts” which is why they need to be understood in order to figure out where to go from here. Obama won twice based largely on these “facts” taken to be Gospel truths.

I wouldn’t read too much into facebook friends. Real friends, who knows? It’s not unheard of for people to develop racist beliefs (and I’m talking about actual racist beliefs - “kill all _____ people” stuff, not the “you can’t say that, that’s racist!” garbage the left tries to peddle) despite having pre-existing black/etc. friends. Again, who knows? I suspect we’ll find out more as this guy is questioned...
