I want to know why there were not armed security guards at this Church. I know at my local Temple there are armed guards all over the place every Saturday morning for Shabbat services

I wonder if the media were kept away. Local voices, on Twitter, were saying it was amazing that the networks were so slow to get onto it - live coverage, etc. did not come up - even though they had lots of press crews and film units in town for Hilary’s visit earlier that day.

No idea. That area of downtown is considered low risk. Most liberal place in the area meaning less armed people.

The info you are citing is about from an hour and a half ago. Sure, it may be totally different from a white 21 year old male. But it’s not Drudge’s fault that is still what the police are saying.
