He’s a crybaby drunk. Scared of his own shadow. Probably has a litany of dirty laundry.

I’m not against fair trade per se but Obama is trying to sell us a pig in a poke.

Yeah...the long game with Boehner is working so well.

Folks ought to buy billboards with just those words along with a picture of Boehner. Incidently, but speaking to the type of guy he is, his release from the Navy was under very interesting circumstances. If you read between the lines it looks as though he may have been a malingerer.

Well, there were 50 GOP no votes on TPA, just passed by the House 218-208, with 8 not voting.

So Jim Jordan did some good work.

Boehner is really a powerful, committed leader ... for the opposition. But Republican House members are too uninformed to know even that.

The voting BASE is still conservative.

I think that's a questionable comment. I dread to see the "base" start voting in 2016.

There wasn’t a viable alternative? Are you kidding?

Boehner is part of the long game. You have to account for Speakers in our plan and majority leaders. That’s normal. You’re not going to get that position because you don’t know how to compromise or please the moneyed interests. This isn’t tiddlywinks.

How about Jim Jordan for President. He’s more attuned to the people than any of the others.

Like I said...the “long game” is working so well right now. I think these guys have been playing the “long game” forever. Has is ever worked? Has it ever shown signs of progress? Has it ever led to anything good? The only thing the “long game” has done is to contribute and support the decline of the conservative agenda by keeping eunuchs like Boehnor and the rest of his RINO brethren in power.

Yet....you and Jordan can both feel good by telling yourself its just part of the the “long game”.

Government’s been growing since Geo. Washington was POTUS. We need not just a Calvin Coolidge in the WH, but a Congress full of them. It’s not going to be easy.

Right. The Republican “long-game” is capitulation. The Conservative base sees that for what it is. Actions speak louder than words. They’re all on the same team. Growth of the elite-ruling class.

American government has grown larger every year since its inception. That’s the nature of government. We’re not going to get back to a postage-size government a la Washington or Lincoln or even Coolidge. But we can slow down the growth of government, alter the worst programs, get rid of departments, and lower taxes and regulations in such a way as to grow out of the problem.

Keep in mind that the solution to America’s problems isn’t going to be found in Washington, but on main street and in the governors and legislatures of the states. We can return to federalism. We can repeal the worst amendments. We can win SCOTUS.

Jordan was asked (begged!) many times to challenge Boehner in his Speakership role. Each time he chose not to. Too many ‘seemingly’ good men have chosen not to show it when urgently needed.
