Giving money to Christ is an unpardonable sin. However business types sometimes donate for reasons other than wanting to see a person’s politics enforced. Some donate to both sides of a political race even.
Didn’t say his explanation was good, just that it was his explanation ;-)
He brushed it off as a business decision, I’m sure.
