Having watched Israel for close to 3 decades, I’ve always been amazed at their restraint regarding the self-called Palestinians.
We’re small and surrounded by enemies (and the Arabs are also real mean). Even back in 1948, every time Israel was gaining ground, the UN pushed for a cease fire. Every time the Arabs were gaining ground, crickets. In 1956, Eisenhower pressured Israel, England and France to unilaterally give up their clear victory and all attendant gains, because Russia threatened to intervene directly, and Ike didn’t want a head-on confrontation. Eurabia, whose international symbol should be the ostrich, continues to offer up pieces of us to the crocodile. If we don’t use more than the required restraint, they all start making angry chimp noises and shouting “Jewish Nazis” and calling for sanctions with froth in their mouths. If we do, they still make angry chimp noises and call us “Jewish Nazis,” and call for sanctions, but without the froth.
