Part of any “restructuring” should be a requirement that Colt be made to move out of CT. But I guess if they merged with one of the other competitors, that would happen as a consequence of the deal. CT doesn’t deserve to have any firearm manufacturing within it’s borders.
Given Malloy and his demonrat legislature's recent budget which punishes business with even higher taxes, and does so retroactively, the state doesn't deserve to keep any business or corporation. In the span of 30 years it went from a somewhat conservative, manufacturing powerhouse with no income tax to a highly taxed and regulated section 8 wasteland besprinkled with an occasional mcmansion.
The parasites have bled the host dry.
