If this thing has failed - I wonder if we’ll ever see what was in it - wouldn’t be surprised if they classify it for 50 years to avoid the ballot box repurcussions

No, this thing is back in the Senate because democrat folks want more money for betraying their union supporters. They realized how much in campaign contributions and free campaign workers it'll cost them if TPP passes so they've raised their price and want to come up with some smoke and mirrors to hide reality from their faithful supporters.

TPA passed. TPP been damaged because a portion is altered. The Senate could debate it a while, then return with what was removed restored. If returned, TPA passing means it's Fast Tracked, gets a straight up or down vote that doesn't allow for amendments, and only requires a simple majority to pass rather than a two-thirds majority.

Sounds far fetched, but then again, gutting a reconciliation bill and turning it into Obamacare was far fetched, too.

In fact, a lot of people still insist that Obamacare was passed illegally which means, .... nothing, nada. It's still the law and the Republicans still score points for screaming about it and money for not repealing it.
