TPA is a great thing, when subsequent deals are done by responsible people. Approving TPA so Obama can do whatever he can to subvert congress for the benefit of others, then TPA needs to be killed.

This statement is precisely why the powers are separate. In this day and age, getting a child in the chair is more likely than not. Ergo, not a good thing.

I guess my problem is that we go into “free trade” deals with a kick me sign attached to our backs. We always, and I do mean always, come out on the short end of the stick. Our leaders evidently want to be seen by other counties as “magnanimous” so we always drop our drawers and agree to a deal that is neither equitable nor fair to our own citizens. Just look at NAFTA. We now are “forced” to allow trucks from Mexico that are not roadworthy onto our nation’s roadways even though logic says that they will kill some of our citizens, and now we are supposed to stop labeling foodstuffs as to their country of origin, which will also likely result other unnecessary deaths amongst our citizenry. The Chinks have thought nothing of killing our pets, so you can bet they wouldn’t bat an eye about killing some of us to make a buck.
