Thanks. It is one of the reasons I can’t get too worked up about Cruz’s support of it. I think from his standpoint, he knows he’d need ‘fast track’ if he wants to enter into treaty negotiations himself, and doesn’t want to be inconsistent in voting against it now but supporting it as president. I wish folks understood this stuff better.
It’s easy to rail against it. It’s not so easy to understand the necessity of it.
Personally, I have other concerns with him but I’m not going to go off-topic with those here.
He’s still my preferred candidate.
Yes, but the way it was structured in the Senate, the TPA is predicated on the trade adjustment assistance. Since the latter failed, the whole mess goes back to the Senate, not to the President’s desk.
Rectum is a perfectly suitable, socially acceptable substitute here. I use it regularly in mixed company with no blowback whatsoever.
He has singlehandedly ruined a perfectly good nation and has set the negro population back about 60 years.
Well, so Trey didn’t go with Boehner, but “you lie” Wildon did?
The rot and ruin was already a malignancy before he made it far worse than it needed to be. He is as much if not more a result of it than a cause of it. His enablers were well established long before he came on the scene. He is simply their like-minded bitch and fellow-traveling mouthpiece. What saddens me is that he is America's first Black man elected President and is feverishly working on becoming the last.
The sponsors are like vampires that will keep coming back.
Good post...thanks.
Trey went with us. I don’t think he has any interest in expanding nobama’s lawlessness.
Clyburn’s vote Aye was not surprising. He’ll be a thorn in our side forever.
Wilson, on the other hand, disappoints. He’s my Rep and he’s got two strikes against him. I hope he is challenged by a true conservative next time.
For some reason, when I think of President Obama, I see Chester Good of Gunsmoke dressed up as a duck.
