No, Mark Levine is a great guy and he’s usually spot on. But just like with Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Michelle Malkin...they are following the misinformation on this.
You would think, after all the fights Ted Cruz has fought against this administration, against the GOP establishment, that he would not be stupid enough to risk his candidacy for President, over this one issue. You know he has to know his constituents are calling him, saying the very things you are, going against his decision to back TPA.
Look I don’t trust Obama and neither does Ted. But I do trust Cruz knows what he’s doing. I trust he’s educated and intelligent enough to know what the right thing is, let alone that the man is a Godly man, so I’m sure he’s not about playing a political game, that so many want to accuse him of.

Not only did Ted Cruz risk his candidacy with this betrayal. He has completely lost it.
I have called Collins office almost daily. They wouldn’t tell me how he was going to vote. I told them that anybody that voted for this did not deserve to keep their seat. I went further though and said I would not vote for a republican again, and certainly never vote for a Democrat, should this thing pass. I would just write “UGA” in. I see no difference in either party!
So, Cruz is lying to you? He has a better record than Sessions, who supported CAFTA btw, but you think Cruz is less honest?

I am sorry you feel so “betrayed” by Cruz. Must be tough to figure out who to support now...or do already know. Hmmm...
I heard Cruz say that, and I also heard Judge Sessions explain his account of what is in the the secret bill. We must remember that these are brief sight readings with no notes or copies, and no detailed review by staffers. When good Conservatives disagree, I prefer to err on the side of caution. Besides, you and I both know that no fast tracked trade bill has ever been defeated.
Experience has shown that secret bills are stinkbombs, and that Republicans aid and abet passage of bad bills by allowing them to advance when they could have killed them in the cradle. Advancing bad bills is a GOP ruse to set up "show votes" where simple majorities of Dems and RINOs can cobble 218 votes together. We are learning that the GOP lets these bad bills advance because they like them.
Further, if Congress grants Fast Track for TPP, it will forfeit its Constitutional power to filibuster or even amend the bill. That alone is an unacceptable surrender of yet more Constitutional authority to the Executive.
Be an informed voter and listen to what Cruz actually says instead of believing whatever someone else says about his position on important issues.
Don't make the assumption that anyone who disagrees with you or anyone else has failed to "listen" and is not "an informed voter." I have heard the first-hand accounts from several Senate and House conservatives who read the secret text. Since their conclusions differ, I prefer a more exhaustive examination of what the drafters do not want us to see.
