Why America Hates the GOP-Obamatrade Deal by Michelle Malkin Creators Syndicate Copyright 2015

Constitutional conservatives don’t like it. Trade unions abhor it. Obama critics hate it. Environmentalists despise it.

Outside the Beltway bubble, a broad coalition of voters from the left, right and center opposes the mega-trade deal getting rammed through Congress this week by the Republican establishment on behalf of the White House. Here’s why.

The Obama administration, House GOP leader John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell have sold out American sovereignty. Their so-called Trans-Pacific Partnership Commission will have sweeping authority over trade, immigration, environmental, labor and commerce regulations.

As alert watchdogs U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., chairman of the Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest and U.S. Rep Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., warn: “By adopting fast-track, Congress would be formally authorizing the President to finalize the creation of this Pacific Union and will have surrendered its legislative prerogatives. Before a word, line, paragraph, or page of this plan is made public, Congress will have agreed to give up its treaty powers. … In effect, one of the most sweeping international agreements seen in years will be given less legislative scrutiny and process than a Post Office reform bill.”

I’d say, ‘again’....but it’s more like, ‘once and for all’

Be sort of like giving Obama another term (and then some) without having him bother to show up to work.

Representive Woodall:

Since his elevation to the office, Obama has made crystal clear his hatred for America and all she once represented. He and Jarrett have done all they can to weaken and ultimately destroy this nation.

I write to you with a very simple message:

While my specific interest at the moment is the sovereignty destroying so-called Fast Track Trade measure, until he is out of office, I INSIST that you VIGOROUSLY OPPOSE any legislation offered by or SUPPORTED by this White House or any of his Democrat (AND REPUBLICAN!) flunkies in Congress on the basis that if Obama and Jarrett support it, it is WRONG for this country and is without question designed to further weaken and destroy us and our freedoms!

By return email, please tell me if there is any part of this message you do not understand!
Dick Bachert, Georgia

PS: If you vote for ANY PURELY CONSTITUTIONALLY BASED legislation BEFORE you have read it, the growing number of sane and very angry voters out here will remember on election day.

Trans-Pacific Partnership Commission will have sweeping authority over trade, immigration, environmental, labor and commerce regulations.

The dirty TPP bill is about much more than trade.
If this bill passes, Mr. Obama will have screwed the Democrat voters big time. Stupid should hurt and with the TPP, it will hurt Labor and Unions and be a vehicle to gut the environmental laws..
If you thought that Obamacare lowered wages, hours, and benefits, just wait until the TPP tsunami hits.

I am generally a big fan of trade because in a fair deal we benefit more from new jobs than we lose in displaced jobs. However, the bottom line is that I do not trust Obama on any issue ever. The man is the most maliciously evil person ever to set foot in our White House. I assume that this deal will harm America or he would not sign it, like trading five terrorists for one deserter, or giving Amnesty to illegal aliens who commit violent crimes against Americans.

However, I have mixed feelings on the trade authority bill. Considering how many treaties have been rejected or at least never approved, I rather like the idea of removing modifications from the table. The better our chances of killing anything Obama negotiates, the safer America will be.

You will receive a wordy, hollow, boiler plate letter in response.

A letter saying absolutely NOTHING.

The very fact that this is being rammed through Congress with no one actually knowing the details makes this agreement sinister. This is exactly how the nightmare of Obamacare was created.

(excerpt)

On Friday, the House is supposed to vote on Trade Adjustment Assistance, and, if that passes, the House would then vote on TPA. Democrats were expected to largely carry TAA, which offers aide to workers who lose or leave their jobs as a result of international trade deals, while Republicans were supposed to largely carry TPA.

I hate it as Speaker John Boehner is for it, fighting against his own party to get it passed, like other recent legislation.

He is the worst of the worst, even worse than Pelosi, who is against it.

Boehner represent no interests other than is own and a few profit-hungry corporations.

He continually disses us conservatives any way he can, including spending millions in tv ads to primary Tea Party candidates.

With his leadership, we will evolved into a stronger Tea Party being forced to run as a third party, so fracturing the GOP vote the Dems will be a winner for decades.
