On the Levin show, Jeff Sessions points to a huge problem that has developed. Congress now passes thousands of pages pieces of legislation that not even our representatives will admit to having read.

WHO is writing this stuff IF NOT THEM?

I’ve always maintained that to maintain the spirit of the Constitution, legislation that follows in its footsteps should be no longer than the original parchment it builds on.

That would be about a dozen pages. Tops.

Staffers write it. Reps and sens read the summaries and Sessions is 100% right. There is NO reason for 1000 page bills but to hide goodies and other shenanigans.
