Mama June Shannon is being sued by her daughter Anna Cardwell for allegedly keeping $300,000 in Here Comes Honey Boo Boo profits.
According to Gossip Cop, Cardwell filed a lawsuit claiming that Shannon had withheld $200,000 in earnings that she was supposed to get from the show. Cardwell also claims that her 2-year-old daughter, Kaitlyn, should receive $100,000. Anna explained that the numbers came from their supposed to be $22,500 per episode salary, and the money from other business ventures including their cookbook.
Unfortunately, despite contractual requirements to do so, none of the Defendants have provided Anna and Kaitlyn with the full compensation and consideration they were contractually promised for their participation in Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, the lawsuit reads, according to Entertainment Tonight.

I smell a reality show in this. "Trailer Trash Judiciary", something like that.

Never watch Judge Judy, did you? Can't say as I have. But maybe there could be a tie-in between the two?

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was canceled last year after it was discovered that Mama June was having a relationship with a man who had sexually molested Anna as a child. While she denied the relationship with sex offender Mark McDaniel, TLC made the decision to pull the show from their lineup.Annas lawsuit comes just weeks after Mama June threatened to sue TLC over the Josh Duggar molestation scandal. Josh is the oldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, who have a reality television show called 19 Kids and Counting. It was recently uncovered that Josh had molested several young girls, including his sisters.
Wow...words fail me...
I guess the one difference is Mama June did not deny Mark McDaniel molested her daughter, but denied she dated him...

From the article, “... from other business ventures including their cookbooks..”
Oh my. Who in the world would buy a cookbook from them? I mean how hard is it to make mayo sandwiches or fried (fill in the blank)?

And to think...less than 20 years ago, it was called "The Learning Channel." And it actually had programming that was educational.
I kinda miss that.

I watched a few minutes of this show once. The bunch was attending some mud festival (that was really what they called it), and one of the activities was bobbing for raw pork chops.
I have a general rule...if a TV show makes me retch while watching, it gets switched off.

Give it time. It’s early yet ;)

Honeybooboo was the 21st century eqivilent of a carnival freakshow. They put these people on TV for no other reason than to allow the rest of the country laugh at them.

"Honeybooboo was the 21st century eqivilent of a carnival freakshow. They put these people on TV for no other reason than to allow the rest of the country laugh at them." I agree. Then it got out of hand and became too sad and disgusting to produce much humor.

The only times I have seen this show was when I was scrolling through the channels.
We have a niece and she and her daughter look like Mama June and Honey Boo Boo. Poor things.

I used to enjoy “Cake Boss.” It was fun watching the production and decoration of the cakes; some of them were pure artistry.
And I admit I enjoy big, loud Italian families.
