I’m sure the good Reverend means well, but maybe it’s time to retire.
There’s nothing wrong with admitting that you don’t know why God allows this or that, or will not allow something. Some questions are simply unanswerable - at least in this lifetime.
Solomon said that of writing books there is no end.
Or... basically that for every question one seems to answer there only seems to pop up more questions to replace the question that received a potential answer.
I have come to the conclusion that most things are unknowable, that in the end only God knows almost everything, that we don’t know why this or that happens in life, that neither unconditional eternal security nor conditional eternal security are absolutely airtight doctrines that can be proven with absolute certainty -— and on and on and on.
