Of the other cops, be it two or eleven, how many were approached from their rear quarter (the side their gun was holstered on) by two young males making threatening moves? Including an indication of intent to pull a weapon?

There was a graphic put up yesterday in one of the other threads showing a 5 or 6 frame (from the video) breakdown of what led to the officer drawing his weapon. Now the takedown of the bikini girl may have been excessive and unnecessary, but drawing his weapon in the face of clearly threatening moves by those two guy’s was not.

I really don’t see the relevance in this.
The chief made a statement that the cop was out of control.
The chief admonished the kids for their behavior.
The cop voluntarily tendered his resignation and it was accepted.
There was a rally and a march against police brutality.
There wasn’t any looting, burning, or chaos.
And now the incident is over except for anything involving the courts.
Criminal charges? I doubt that.
Monetary payout to the girl? Probably.

I’d say a major point here is that the cop voluntarily resigned. He obviously didn’t want to stay.
