It’s obnoxious to see how the media have completely distorted a story to the point of no recognition. The girl was given a lawful order to disperse, refused to do so, because she thought she had a right to trespass and use vulgar language in front of children. She then refused a lawful order to sit down, and chose to verbally and physically resist. The next step is physical force. Doesn’t matter if she’s a girl. If she’s hysterical and resisting commands, the cop was in the right. As for the gun thing, the twothugs were sshouting and charging on his blind side, closing in just a few feet. Totally justified, but I keep hearing him portrayed as pulling a gun for no reason!
The lie will live on and join a list of other lies that go on to infinity.
“the cop was in the right”
The McKinney chief of police disagrees with you.
He said Casebolt went in out of control. He did praise the other 11 officers for their professionalism.
He also laid some of the blame on the kids for their behavior.
McKinney isn’t Ferguson. It’s a pretty well off suburb of Dallas.
The girl who got pushed down lives in that subdivision.
It’s not the Hood and those kids aren’t gangstas.
There’s no rioting or looting going on and the matter’s closed.
The cop resigned as he should have.
Everybody is more or less satisfied.
