As former LEO I think you have a point. They may need to stop hiring gung ho types with split personalities that have anger management issues for starters. On the other hand people that haven’t been police officers don’t have a fundamental understanding of what they go through every day and the demands of the job don’t have proper understanding to make an informed opinion. They’re just reacting to what the MSM tells them is the truth.

I think more of the focus should be on the 11 cops who got it right.
JMHO but they didn’t escalate and helped keep this incident from getting all the way out of control.
Sadly that’s been overlooked because of the video. Of course the video was going to be of the out of control cop because he was the one drawing attention to himself.
I wish the chief of police would have named the guys who got it right and talked more about that.
