1. I’m not going to call them thuggish, but they were moving towards the officer in a coordinated matter. As there were three of them, they would have been too much for him to handle without having to pull a weapon.
2. No other officer, at least until this point in time, was in a situation where they were being targeted by multiple individuals simultaneously.
3. The arrest was well done and very textbook. When she resisted, he used enough force, but not too much, to overcome her resistance. She went down from feet to head and was not injured.

I was referring to his conduct BEFORE the arrest. The other officers are seen standing around, talking to people, trying to calm the situation. This guy was running around, screaming at people, ordering them to get on the floor, etc. Generally escalating the situation.
How do you know that?
