When you speak of Jesus CHRIST you are speaking of God, so the founders named God and pled for God's blessings upon the land and the people, thus Jesus CHRIST is included in the pleadings to God.

Many of the founders did not conflate God and Jesus. Jesus for them was irrelevent since they were not Christian. The only invocation to any higher power that I see in the founding documents is an oblique reference to a Creator in the Declaration of Independence. The Declaration was composed by Jefferson who was certainly not a Christian, so there was not conflation in his mind.

For the founders that were Christian, they did not see fit to put religious language into the Constitution.
