Breaking the Silence is an Israeli NGO which publishes anonymous testimonies of soldiers. In 13 years they've published 200 testimonies, anonymously. You can read them on their website, lots of them fall into the bad things happen in war category.

Anonymous testimony, none about necklaces of ears and things like that, why would anyone be surprised the State Department would meet with them. The Secretary is an author, after all, and knows all about anonymous testimony.
