One resident, Benet Embry, a black man, posted on Facebook about the events leading up to the police call. Look, I LIVE in this community and this ENTIRE incident is NOT racial at all, Embry wrote. A few THUGS spoiled a COMMUNITY event by fighting, jumping over fences into a PRIVATE pool, harassing and damaging property. Not EVERYTHING is about RACE. WE have other issues that NEED our attention other flights of made up make believe causes.
In another post he is critical of media coverage of the incident. Ive never seen such irresponsible reporting and miss management of media resources in my life, he said.

Beg your pardon?
Only if the city is represented by an idiot and only if they have a jury full of cop haters. But then again it is PC to hate cops just because these days. I don’t like abuse of power or bad cops but this time the cops were in the right.
Exactly. By the looks of the video, the cop did over react. We don’t have all the facts though (I am not defending the cop)... ...was this a racial episode as many are claiming? I’ve done construction work either at this pool or one just like it (there are several Craig’s Ranch facilities).
The pool is immediately adjacent to a club house and is surrounded by an 8’ metal bar fence. This is a facility for residents only and entry is allowed through a card-controlled system. Reports say that youths were jumping the fence, drinking, smoking weed.....and for that reason the MPD was called.
The cop, from the looks of it, was wrong, so is making this out to a racial event.
Mr Gestner’s FB post about it.
Any first year law student could debunk that.
Yeah, I saw the post. I was asking about anything beyond the one guy’s word. 911 calls? Police reports? Other witnesses? Photos of damaged houses and/or cars? Stuff like that.
I just googled for that information myself and found nothing official. If this activity did occur there should be police reports.
Yeah, that’s why I asked. If he had said that they came back and were loud/obnoxious, that would have been one thing. But the activities he described would surely have resulted in police reports.
Some facts coming out..that refute your opinion.
In my line of work...we can do everything right, and still have a bad outcome.
What facts?
One more thing, big THANKS to the Admin who added the KEYWORDS. I don’t post too often and always forget those. GREAT JOB!
That's all you need to say. A person either defends civilization or weakens it.
I have a family to protect. Now more than ever leople like us need to stick together.
Amen. Apparently a small cadre here embraces chaos, and wants it to run free on our streets, with police powerless to do anything but ask politely for compliance.
When it finally falls to vigilantes to impose some small measure of order, you can bet they will scream about that, too.
They were blaming George Zimmerman for getting shot at by a mentally-ill stalker.
Nicely done.
I call them as I see them.
Some have said I am too pro police and others have said I was too anti cop.
As for the McKinney incident, I think the city will settle as writing a check is simpler than explaining the events.
What ever the case, cops slamming a 15 year old girl is tough to explain to the public.
The city will want this to go away.
I am not advising anyone involved, so therefore I cannot suborn perjury.
I hope the girl gets a settlement from the city. She can use that to pay the judgement against her the HOA will win.
