First off, it's clear that there was a "target list" of nations which the Obama regime wished to topple. Both the NYT and the Frontpage agree two of the four are Egypt and Yemen. The NYT concludes the other two were Bahrain and Jordan, based on receptivity to political change and US ties in the region. The Frontpage conclusion however leans to Tunisia and Libya, based upon the violence of counterrevolutions and uprisings in the wake of the Arab Spring.
Given that the NYT article is about four years old and pre-Benghazi, and as the timeline shows how quickly unrest in the region has escalated, it is reasonable to conclude the Frontpage list is more accurate - counterrevolutions against the Muslim Brotherhood have been successful in Egypt and Tunisia, and the Libyan and Yemeni civil wars are currently unfolding.
There is no longer any doubt that the Obama regime has been the mover of events to overthrow governments in the region, aided by the propaganda power of their media allies to misinform, disinform, and shut down dissent. White House involvement in Benghazi is patently obvious, and their manipulation of events across the region in favor of radical Muslim factions is becoming clearer.
You might well ask, how this pertains to the Watchman effort; the answer is in this statement from the article:
"Directive 11 codified the Left’s dirty alliance with the Muslim Brotherhood into our foreign policy. Its support for Islamist takeovers paved the way for riots and civil wars culminating in the violence that birthed ISIS and covered the region in blood. And it remains secret to this day."
The Left's policy towards American citizens who oppose their agenda has been in the public domain for almost six years, and is not secret; in fact, they are in our faces about it, daring us to do something. We see official Executive Branch involvement in the riots in Ferguson and Baltimore, ISIS operatives in Ferguson, and with potential Muslim protests in Boston, their presence again (all having been documented right here on FR).
The only factor remaining is, when does the time of policy statements end, and the time of implementation begin?
