Of all the people I know in the world of political commentary, Ann Coulter is the most un-ransomable captive to truth, in-depth-study of facts, consequences and her Daughters of The Revolution passion for America.
The other week, I traveled to Miami with Ann for her debate with Jorge Ramos, of Univision TV, over her new book, "Adios America." She'd crawled out of her sickbed to keep that date. I know, because I was the pal who for days dashed back and forth with the raw ginger, mango juice, Alka-Seltzer Plus/Nightime, cases of water, various lozenges and prescriptions from CVS. It was imperative that she be well for what she considered an important interview. And, whew, she made it!
Although still ill, Ann came with a fully loaded quiver and Jorge was no match for her. I was disappointed, for I'd expected a sparkling event but this reporter came to the test without his homework. He began the interview by challenging her numbers.
Anyone with the slightest exposure to Ann knows never to do that. She’s forever under the menacing microscopic eye of "The Vast left-wing Conspiracy" and makes it her business to come fully bolstered by indisputable facts, facts, facts.
The only racist on that stage was Jorge Ramos, who could not stop attacking the white lady long enough to truly hear the incontrovertibles she pronounced in rapid-fire sequence. He constantly spoke over her. Reality visibly bewildered Jorgito. Truth hurt. It was traumatic for him, super-surprising and threatening; he kept getting smaller and smaller as solid facts, logic and reasoning flew through the air and over his head.
I call Ann a "lady" because that's what she is -- through and through. We've experienced much together for many years so I'm fully equipped to speak of her.

I respect Annie a lot, except when she pulls crap like this.
I got her book Friday. It’s right on. Regardless of her Romney stance, she’s right about this: We’re becoming a third world hell-hole.

Absolutely, it’s completely out of control and Democratic party which I now consider a terrorist organization, is doing this deliberately to not only import votes but to bring about the destruction of the US. The US is near death and a new country will be instituted. What they are doing is trying to overwhelm the country with foreign invaders and they are doing their utmost to entice them to sneak in. For example the once proud state of California passed a bill last week giving health care to illegals. So now besides welfare, food stamps, housing, they get health care oh yes and drivers licenses. What this basically does is tell the entire world California will support them. No need to work, no need to even immigrate legally. Just take a boat or plane to Mexico and sneak over the US border and you’re set for life. There’s 7 billion people in this world. If just a fraction of that take up Californias offer, it would be absolute hell on earth. There’s around 320 million people currently in the USA. Imagine 500 million illegals showing up over a 2 or 3 year period.

Yes, the Democrat Party is the party of Treason.
IMHO, Ann does fight the good fight. And I will choose stopping this invasion as my hill to die on. But appearing on Univision and arguing with Jorge Ramos... well, liberals are just impervious to facts. Was it a fool's errand? Who knows. But she had the cojones to go into the lion's den (metaphor overload alert!).

Ramos introduced Ann as someone "who doesn't want immigration reform"... that sort of sleazy semantic manipulation: (Newspeak for "This is a bad person")
Wrong.
Ann most definitely demands immigration reform -- total reform: shut down the agency; a triple fence on the border; no one coming in, even legally, for a decade; complete overhaul of the laws. Now, that would be honest-to-gosh real reform.
Obviously we can't take them all in.... some of the rich have to stay behind to be kidnapped and held for ransom by the gangs.
And the time to annex Mexico was following the war in 1850. Too late now.

Ann is right, of course.
But, absent in the discussion and in the article by her friend, is the the other real truth.
The other fact is that, democrats are not wanting to bring in Mexicans (or other illegals) because the feel their pain and want to help them.
The real fact is that, democrats are about getting their way with whatever means possible.
So, democrats want to insure an electorate which is very dependent on government, and what better way than to bring in millions of Mexicans who will be immediately dependent on government programs and services?
The idea is that, dependents will be voting democrat, and to democrats, illegal immigration means padding their voting ranks with huge numbers of illegal voters, who will, hopefully, become legal but still democrat voters.
With the mantra of ‘whatever it takes’, democrats are taking the country into the toilet.

Time to ship the Statue of Liberty and its noble sentiments back to France. They can take in the world’s refuse.We no longer can afford them.Our national survival dictates we consider those who arrive here in a Mercedes with a technical skill set not in a ship’s cargo hold with a lawnmower.
The Democrats in R jerseys known as Republicans are just as invested in making sure we cannot stop the invasion/cheap labor importation/colonization of our country as the Democrats in D jerseys.
Both parties are responsible for the refusal of the federal government to enforce the laws against fraudulently documented foreigners.
The GOP represents the employers of illegal aliens.
The Democrats represent the illegal aliens.
No one represents the citizens.
Even her hero Mitt said after the election that Rubio’s Gang’s bill should have been passed, which would have surrendered the rule of law and the country to fraudulently documented foreigners.
Most of the GOP is in favor of continuing the invasion/cheap labor importation/colonization of our country.
We need an actual opposition party.
