First off, to whom are you referring to as "they"? If you're referring to individual physicians, there were many of them (us) crying out about the outrages contained in ACA. Organized Medicine, on the other hand [aka the AMA], is about as timid as Congressional Republicans and didn't make a peep, as I recall. Even if they had, the MSM wouldn't have /reported/amplified it.

The rare *individual* voices of docs that I heard at the time were opposed to ACA on well-informed grounds. None of this “tyranny” stuff. Of course, they were ignored & drowned out.
