So, what do you propose to stop this? Ask politicians to design it themselves?
I welcome input from groups. Those groups, many times, represent actual people.
The key is to elect politicians with honor, who actually try to choose what is best, not what is the most enriching or the most power consolidating.
Groups, great!! Nothing against “groups” — just how certain ones operate right now. What about electing politicians who are term-limited, and making the meetings of say, all the governors, OPEN to the public, and all the materials provided to the governors made public? It’s the behind-closed -doors operations with politicians-for-life that infringe on voters’ rights. And, I try to elect politicians who are at least educated and conversant on matters of law and policy, don’t you?
