When Lyudmila Savchuk heard about the assassination of Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov earlier this year she was shocked and saddened.
“I felt the bullets between my own shoulders,” she said, recalling how the Kremlin critic was gunned down near Moscow's Red Square in February.
Yet within hours of Mr Nemtsov's death, Ms Savchuk and her colleagues were going online to pour bile on the former deputy prime minister and claim he was killed by his own friends rather than by government hitmen, as many suspect.
“I was so upset that I almost gave myself away,” she said. “But I was 007. I fulfilled my task.”

I don’t know if PRT was paid but he did closely parroted the Kremlin talking points of the day. I recall one thread he posted that was roughly “Don’t support Lithuania because dontcha know their President is a commie”. At the time Russian state media had gone to great effort to plant this story and was aggressively pushing exactly the same idea.
That is the same tactic they use with Ukraine in the west. These trolls disparage front line countries so the pea brained sheep in love with Putin’s bare chested manliness will think it is not worth engaging against Russian invasion & mass murder there.
I know two FRussians who fit that bill.

Never mind that Putin has more to do with helping Iran with its nuclear weapons program than any other country. That he wages a covert war against a nation Russia is officially at peace with. Or that he burns the corpses of dead Russian draftees so their family won't know how they died.
There are a thousand reasons why Putin isn't as he portrays himself. He could end abortion tomorrow if he were truly some benign Christian despot, like, say, Franco was. He won't, though.

What you're writing seems to imply that you're seeing an equivalence that makes Russian trolls no different than idiotic lefties.

Kremlin Claptrap it is. While US Army Europe reports Russian forces invading Ukraine and shows intel they continue to parrot whatever the Kremlin talking points of the day are. I remember going in circles RE Crimea last yer with them. Now that a Russian agent from Moscow has admitted to dissolving the Crimean parliament at gun point and Putin has handed out the medals we never hear about Crimea from our Putinists.
Instead we see they post on inane things like gay parade while being MIA on important things like Russia violating a ICBM treaty while threatening nuclear war.
No genuine American conservative would behave in such a way. Anti-American indeed.
