You need to increase your understanding of the Mid-east if your want to actually understand what is going on.
I understand that most of the Middle East would love to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. Secular/fundie, they could all unite at some point to try and accomplish that. And they would happily do the same to America. All I need to understand about Islam, I learned on 9/11. So some of their sand traps are more secular than others. Oops. Regardless, they follow the strong horse, and the strong horse is not secular by any means. ISIS is going to own it all if someone doesn’t start kicking butt. All of their centuries-long squabbles and slaughters and violence and perpetual outage are tiresome and unresolvable. I understand enough to have all that figured out.
