Fine, let’s seal the border to trade, and Californians can eat $6.00 a dozen eggs and feel good about themselves, and the rest of us can go back to eating $1.20 a dozen eggs and feel guilty - or not. And since Californians don’t like dams or offshore drilling, they can build some pretty high speed electric trains than can’t go anywhere and admire themselves for that, as well.

Nobody is forcing producers in other states to raise their hens in any particular fashion.

Egg producers in other states can raise their hens any way they damn please.

It's just if they want to sell them here, they have to house them in accordance with CA law.

They can always sell them elsewhere. Nobody in CA will mind.
