Don’t forget the impact of the new California laws for chicken houses. California used to be a large chicken and egg producer. The new law is killing that. So our prices go up to supply the fruits and nuts.

From a January 1 story about the new law:

“I expect when eggs settle out eggs will be between 10 and 40 percent more expensive for consumers,” he said.”

There's nothing wrong with the new chicken laws.

Any responsible, humane person would have already put them in place.

It's also against the law in most states to beat a dog with a stick or refuse to feed or water your horses.
