interesting....we will see if it was shot down/unable to maintain controlled flight or if it took fire and damage from that gunfire caused the pilot to land as soon as possible/practicable.

One of the rounds hit the blade, at least one round went through the cockpit. They were fired on from the Mexican side.

Probably those red blinking thingies on the instrument panel were a subtle hint to land soonest. If it was the one that says Master Caution, it was not subtle.
