Guy died from AIDS in ‘95, and this entire article is based on his sisters hearsay.

Love the breathless George jumping all over it like it is engraved in stone, not without any proof whatsoever except her story.

"...ABC News revealed that Steve Reinboldt's sister had tried to get in touch with media outlets nine years ago to reveal Hastert's alleged sexual abuse as she watched him climb to a position of national political power..."

This is the ENTIRE point.

The media "watchdogs" knew ALL about it, a decade ago - but hastert was "in power", and "playing for Team Uniparty".

This is why Hillary Clinton, felon, will NEVER be prosecuted for the thousands of obstruction felonies stemming from her "private email server".

If there was any proof whatsoever the instant his gavel struck for the last time they would be all over him like white on rice considering the R after his name.

They just didn’t (or still don’t actually) have any facts, just her story. If they had anything at all this would have broke in 2012 just before the election big time, not now when it will be old news and wasted politically.

Hastert served on Hillary’s healthcare task force in 1993.

Coincidentally, in 1995 Hastert rose to Chief Deputy Whip, the same year Stevie died of AIDS. Jolene confronted Hastert at Stevie’s Funeral.

Plain-Talking Hastert Poised to Be Speaker
December 21, 1998

“There is not a breath of scandal associated with Denny,” said Brad Goodrich, deputy executive director of the Illinois GOP, referring to the marital infidelity that drove Livingston from the speakership even before he formally accepted it.

Just to be certain, Rep. Donald Manzullo (R-Ill.) asked Hastert Saturday the question on many lawmakers’ minds.

“I looked him right in the face and said, ‘Can you withstand the scrutiny?’‚” recalled Manzullo, one of the social conservatives who regarded Livingston as severely tarnished. “He said, ‘Yes.’‚”
