When her husband was arrested after a shootout at a biker club gathering at a Twin Peaks restaurant here May 17, Sheree Clendennen figured security camera video would soon clear him.
At first I just thought theyre going to take all these guys, look at the video, see whos innocent and let all these guys go, said Clendennen, 29, of nearby Hewitt.
Then Week 2 it was like, Oh my gosh -- theyre not letting people go. They dont care whats on the video, she said of police, With all of the security cameras and all of them out in the parking lot watching what went on, there is no reason all of these guys should have been held so long.
But 17 days later, of the 177 people arrested in connection with the shooting that killed nine and wounded more than a dozen, 143 remain jailed this week, many on $1-million bond. Some face at least a monthlong wait for a bond-reduction hearing, and attorneys say its unlikely their clients will post bail. They have been arraigned but have not been formally charged.
Prosecutors have 90 days to present a case to indict to a grand jury before those in custody are entitled to reduced bonds.

The cops have been caught with their pants down.
Tiger-by-the-tail situation
This is insane and scary beyond belief someone screwed the pooch big time and a bunch of not so bad guys are paying the price Oh look another new picture of Jenner came out brb
And the sorry situation is slowly getting back into the MSM.
They’re trying to force the bikers to sign waivers that clear Waco of any civil liability for wrongful arrest. Problem is - every day of jail time increases the eventual damages awarded. The prosecutor is in damage control mode.
Something is wrong here.
By now we would have had maps published of where bodies fell, where the police took a position, where they fired, where employees hid etc.
So now the rumor is that someone called the police before any gang members fired shots, and shot the gang members.
If they don’t publish what they know, soon; even if it is 95% accurate (which it should be) what are we to think?
Plus 143 gang members in prison indefinitely, can’t talk to the media.
And there are all those women who got scammed into showing their boobs.
“Prosecutors have 90 days to present a case to indict to a grand jury before those in custody are entitled to reduced bonds.”
And the prosecutors will use 89.75 days to present their cases, just as they do in almost all major prosecutions, especially prosecutions of cases where nine innocent people minding their own business ended up dead, after being shot at a meeting of Cub Scouts or some similar group, all of who claim they had nothing to do with the nine folks ending up dead.
That turned out to be a "he said, she said" situation. Everyone ended up denying everything, though one defense attorney was going to file an ethics complaint on another defense attorney. There are threads...
You have tried to grind both sides of that argument, with ludicrous results.
Next!
I was busy watching the Pig Pig video. She looked so cute, posing for her picture in the back of the squad car.
Did you say something about some bikers getting shot, and some other bikers being locked up? Huh?
Something is wrong here. If these were good arrests the police and prosecutors would be in front of the cameras every day patting themselves on the back.
That may not be true. The attorney who originally made that allegation subsequently back off of it and retracted. But still, something stinks to high heaven here.
“Theyre trying to force the bikers to sign waivers that clear Waco of any civil liability for wrongful arrest. “
Wrong. That was made up by a lawyer. There was a thread about another lawyer using that info. That lawyer is reporting the first lawyer to the state bar.
There was a article posted about the fake waiver but it was totally ignored here.
plea bargain by litigation. Create burdensome cost of defending yourself so that a person with a family has no choice but to surrender.
How many of the 143 have lost jobs? How many have to wonder who is going to provide for their families and how?
Remember the Zimmerman prosecutor had a reputation of overcharging in her cases in order to force plea agreements. Particularly when her case was non-existant to weak.
I am sort of surprised that biker clubs all over the US have not started a fund for these guys. If they let this stand, any meeting of bikers no matter how innocent could be surrounded by cops ready to shoot.
those waivers exist and are presently SOP across the country.
Yes, there is. Either:
1. The cops had no clue they were being used in a false flag op, and still have not decided how to proceed, or
2. The cops knew full well what was going on, were entirely complicit, and now realize they totally screwed it up and are using every moment to figure out how to save their tails.
It’s clear enough that you do not care for due process, presumption of innocence, and probable cause.
If you insist that you do care and yet cannot see all being violated in Waco, then you need some remedial education on what the Constitution is all about.
