Perhaps the religious battles and bullying around here are driving people away.

Its a shame because this used to be, and could be, a good site to gather a full range of information.

FR is not a news gatherer. It is a news aggregator at best, and more accurately, a news discussion forum. Which, in my opinion, is a valuable -- even indispensable -- role, but doesn't exactly put it in the same category as Newsmax or Drudge.

Still, the fact that it out-traffics Rush Limbaugh is pretty impressive.

Hey. How come we dropped down? That ain’t right there. Weird when you look at the contribution totals from each state in the constant drive to keep Jim afloat that there aren’t (in the overall scheme of things) that many folks ponying up. Lurkers, come out of the closet and fess up with some funds. If it’s only $10, do it. If you go to any of the other “top” sites, they are stuffed with advertisers. Don’t see no bill and melinda “grates” foundation money propping up free(monitored no doubt) speech here. Just sayin’.

Thanks for the post. I have included Legal Insurrection and Conservative Treehouse to my daily news, both very informative.

I read some of the responses on this thread, and it seems some Freepers have taken to the schoolyard for a puerile rumble. Speaking as a grownup, I much value FR.
