I think the version of events as told by the motorcycle club members is probably much more accurate than that of the police.
I think they see a massive poop storm of retaliation coming their way and they’re scared. They should be as some of the OMG’s are probably going to destroy Waco in payback.
Setting bikers up, members of clubs or outlaw gangs or not, is probably a very stupid idea.

The request that Yahoo remit $1.90 for the 19 pages they intended to supply may be the weakest and lamest snark ever.

The more they try to hide information, the less it looks legitimate.

I have tried to find their website. I’m sure they have one but I cannot find it. I’m sure facepalm won’t let them in.

Only thing missing is Clinton, Holder, Reno. Same town, different day.

It seems that most of the dead bikers were killed by the police. Was this an old fashioned Texas turkey shoot?

It looks like it and I have no doubt that a fairly large percentage of those biker were pretty bad guys
That said this looks to have been a totally illegal ambush.

“I think the version of events as told by the motorcycle club members is probably much more accurate than that of the police.”
For those who haven’t heard the eyewitness third party version: Scuffle outside, two or three shots fired between bikers, holy hell unleashed by LEO rifles on the entire crowed.

That one fact right there tells every intelligent, thinking individual all they need to know about the incident. And that fact is: The police are covering up. Everything else is gravy. If the police were justified , I don't doubt that they will get away with it, the full story of the incident would have been shouted from the rooftops, i.e. the media within 12 hours, max. And witness after witness would have been interviewed by the media on television and talk radio. Ditto the video[s] and radio transcripts.
What happened there was, for reasons known only to them, was a Badge killing. And then the witness elimination began.

I hadn't heard this but it is exactly what I was speculating may have happened. At the first sound of gunfire all the officers opened up turning it into a turkey shoot.

Why do you think that they are trying to hide the information? Boredom? Game playing?

It gets worse for the cops every day. First of all this isn't a decision being made by "the cops" at all...and secondly since when is asking for the Texas State Attorney General's office for guidance on a public records request in a case like this considered to be a bad thing?

Just wondering....how is it that if black thugs riot in the street, destroying, burning, looting, even killing, that maybe two will be arrested (usually) but 175 of these guys got arrested!!!!

since when is asking for the Texas State Attorney General's office for guidance on a public records request in a case like this considered to be a bad thing? He's not asking for "guidance." He's asking for an exemption. He knows damned well what he is required to release.

Scuffle outside, two or three shots fired between bikers, holy hell unleashed by LEO rifles on the entire crowed. Be interesting to know the makeup of the LEO's. Wonder if there were any reserve and/or inexperienced officers among them that were armed with full auto weapons? Hear one shot, get spooked and empty a 30 rounder with one spray.
