Earlier this year, officials at Jeb Bush’s Right to Rise PAC imagined holding an impromptu, “pop-up” fundraising event aimed at a different kind of donor: young professionals. The group scheduled a meet-up with a $25 ask, held in late February in Washington, in the hopes of drawing out a few dozen 20- and 30-somethings. The main attraction? Jeb Bush Jr., the 31-year-old son of the candidate.
The event turned out to be a smashing success: More than 400 people showed up that night, and Right to Rise figured it was onto something. Since then, it has held more than a half dozen other events — in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Houston and Miami — with Jeb Jr. as the headliner.
The experience is forging the youngest Bush, who has spent the past few years helping his father run a private investment firm in Miami, into an ambassador of sorts to young GOP donors. And he’s proving to be a useful emissary for his father, a 62-year-old grandfather of four who sometimes seems to be trying a little too hard to connect with a younger generation of voters.

With his millions and his pedigree Jeb can’t raise a family.
Then he goes around and casts dispersions on working class Americans who aren’t raising families of junkies on 1/100th the income.

Undoubtedly one of the grandchildren George H.W. referred to as “my little brown ones” at the 1988 convention. Honestly, I don’t think the Bushes are dumb, but they sure do act and talk like it quite a bit.

Calling an event headlined by Jeb Bush's son a "smashing success" with millennials is only something that an inside the Beltway political type could say.
